february venture cocktail

Hello Everyone!

I wanted first to thank all of you who came last night for our first sponsored Venture Cocktail. Many thanks to Jennifer Hicks and Farley Duvall for their valuable contributions. I hope everyone had as fantastic a time as I did! As always, it was great to see so many people who have been supportive since we started almost two years ago, and very exciting to meet so many newcomers, who have set out to keep the spirit of innovation alive despite these so-called tough times!

Moving forward, we will continue to welcome speakers and sponsors to Venture Cocktail, to add a bit more structure and dimension to our program. But, as I think most of you will be happy to know, we will remain true to our initial mission: to provide a casual and friendly environment where people can talk to each other ... where enthusiasm is encouraged, the brightest ideas are gently nourished, and business gets done.

Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, February 26th at Aubrey in Zurich West from 6:30PM to 10PM. We are still interviewing prospective sponsors and speakers for the event (interview process closes February 15) so please let me know soon if you are interested in participating.
